Mr McLaeliklan who opposea Sir .John Hall forKlesmere addressed a meeting last night. He stated that he was opposed to Sir John Hall on accouut of the latter'g views on tho education question, and owing to his support of the Government. GISHOUN'K Last Night.

Mr Arthur addressed the electors last night. He had a warm receplinn. and announced that he supported the Government, though not a blind follower. He Mid he was in favour of Free-trade in Native Land* and the Property-taw l£o was accorded a vote of thanks.

Mr William Kelly has been nominated for the liast Const.
