HIS CHARGES SUBSTANTIATED

He was understood to say that other startling disclosures would shortly follow. Losdox, November 14. Stanley refrains from taking counteraction against the late Major Barfctlelot's friends. The Times this morning publishes the affidavit of Asson Farran, who was interpreter to the Stanley expedition in Africa. The ghastly details of Major Barttlelot's cruelty are given, ftnd the charge against Jamieson is reiterated. Mr Jamieson's letter, published by his widow, shows that the girl for cannibalism was not purchased by him, but that the act was caused by an imprudent gift of calio) to tho natives. The Times states thit tho letter sirikes the heaviest blow at Mr Jamieson's reputation.
