LABOUR DISPUTES.

London, October 25. TllE decision of the Dock Companies to abolifili labour Rangers is likely to provoke serious trouble. The dockers ur3 sullen, dogged, and demoralised, and refuse to fulfil the agreements arranged by their leadei s. They openly decku-c that they will work when it pleases them, and that they will prevent others working. Mr Wilson, Secretary of the Sailors' Unions, fearing defections, advises action to be taken to precipitate a struggle. Two Atlantic-Liverpool lines ot steamers have been laid up, affecting sixty thousand tons of shipping. The Clyde Shippers' Association decline to riscuss the wholesale layingup of vessels. The Dock Committee offer free labourers fair wages with pensions, and will engage labourers without intervention of middlemen, They renew piecework at Albert and Victoria Docks.
