CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN BOARD
Thb above Board met at the Borough Council Officas, Cambridge, on Saturday at 2 p.m. Present: Messrs, Thos, Wells (chairman), .T. Fisher and E. B. Walker. The minutes of the previous and monthly Bpecial meeting were read and confirmed.
Tin: Cambbiogk Wwp Recreation Rkskkvk.—Mr Fisher reported that Mr Adams had accepted a pro rata reduction rent for the land taken by the Board in section 90. This section is the Recreation Reserve, and the Board have fenced off a belt of land in which they have planted deciduous trees; they have also planted several clumps near the centre of the paddocl% Tim Board's Tenants.—Mr James Hally wrote asking the Board to accept Mr li .Heaslip as tenant of several sections that he is taking over from Mr J. McNicol. It was resolved that in reply to Mr Hally's letter, he be informed the Buard will accept any rent tendered by Mr Heaslip. but decline to relieve Mr MfiNicol of his responsibility.—lt was further resolved that Mr McNicol be notified that unless the gorse on the sections above referred to be removed by November Sth, the Board will have the same done aud charge him with the cost thereof.
Accounts. —The notion of the Chairman in pitying the following accounts since the last meeting of the Board, was confirmed : —Vickers and Fletcher, t"2(i 17s 7i; W. Harris, £3 5s ; Jns Kelly, t'2 (is ; J. H. Armer, £2 7s (id. The following accounts were passed for payment :—Vickers and Fletcher, £2 ISs : J. Sharp, £2 9s Od ; Borough Rates, £3 ; \V. Souter and' Co., £1 4s 3d ; T. Wells. 17s Od ; U. Hawsnn, lGs ; W. Brid?iuan, 10s ; J. Ksaley, 7s ; iT. Webber, 3s ; J. P. Thomson, £4 4s lid. This was all the business.
