PATERANGI CHEESE AND DAIRY PRODUCE COMPANY LIMITED.

Tub annual meeting of the above company was held in the old schoolhouse, Paterangi, nil Thurday evening. The following shareholders were present: Messrs Germann (in the elixir), Mackay, McCallum, Allan Scott, ,T. Scott. Smith, G. Finch, Sing, Kay, Morrison, and Rybtirn, Hon. Sec. The Chairman stated that as the factory and plant were let, the only business to be brought before the meeting was the financial position of the company. The Secretary then read the balance-sheet, which showed that during the past year the loss had been £7 ss. The balance-sheet as t read was adopted. In reply to Mr John Scott, who asked what waß going to be done with the plant, as it was in a most disgraceful state, the Chairman said that last year he had had the vats cleaned out, but a.s the plant was now leased to Mr Reynolds, he was responsible and would have to return it in good order. The retiring directors, Messrs Germann, Mackay, A. J. Scott, Ryburn, and R. Kay, were re-elected. A vote of thanks was accorded to the retiring auditors, Messrs Sing and Morrison, and Messrs Sing and Smith were appointed auditors for the coming year. The date of the next annual meeting was fixed for the third Thursday in October, 1891. At a meeting of the directors held subsequently, Mr Mackay was elected'chairmau and Mr Germann secretary and public officer.
