In pursuance of the Maori Representation Act, 1867, and the Amendments thereof, I, George Thomas Wilkinson, Returning Officer for the Western Maori Electoral District, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the 7th day of October, 1890, under the public seal of the colony, an ELECTION will be held for the return of ONE qualified person to serve as a member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will take place at the TOWN HALL, KIHIKIHI, Waikato, at noon on MONDAY, the 27th day of October, 1890, and that the POLL, if necessary, will take place on THURSDAY, the 27th day of November, IS9O, at the different polling places within the electorate. .
