Mr Robert Lee, Inspector to tlio Wellington Kducutiuii Jioard, at a meeting of the board brought forward a number of educational suggestions by which he con<iders the teaching of elementary science might be made more acceptable and pleasant to the pupils. He suggested two lessons in science and two in physical geography, and one "reading " by the teacher, to be given weekly in all classes above the third standard, and that there be an object lesson and one "reading" in all the lmyer classes. He also suggested that modelling in clay bo taught in all the standards, The Board adopted the suggestions.
