HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.

Tun ordinary monthly meeting of the Hamilton Domain Board was held on Tmvdny . evening, when there were present: Messrs Coates (chairman), Parr, Jones, Wood, and Salmon. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.—lt was resolved that the Galloway reserve, which is now being cleared, be put up to auction for lease, at a rental of £4 per year, the Hoard reserving to themselves the right to re-outer and plough up any furze that may be growing there. —The chairman reported that tho man employed to grub up furze, etc., round Sydney Square, was getting on with liis work, and that lie would be going up to the Park reserve in a few days, to do work tliere.—H. Salmon wrote, asking the Hoard to allow him to transfer allotments 104 and I!>s, to C. J. W. Barton. Application granted.—The chairman reported that he and the clerk had borrowed from the Council £500, to pay off tho overdraft at the bank, and also to pay interest. This makes the total indebtedness of the Board to the Council, £1,f.00. The question of interest to bo paid was allowed to stand over till the next meeting of the Borough Council.
