(liV TKLEUItAI'M OWN COKIIKSI'ONIiEN'f). Auckland. Last Night. Last weok a parcel of 18 tons of ore from the lied Mercury mine was crushed at the Moanatairi battery for a yield of 51 ounces, which is at the rate of three ounces to the ton. One ton of stull was reserved for treatment by the dry process, and it was expected that this would give even a better yield. The expectations were more than realised, tho ton having given a return of nearly six ounces of nmlto 1 gold.
