ADVANCE IN MAY QUEEN SHARES. (l!Y TELEGRAPH —OWN COKKESI'ON'DKXT.) Auckland, Last Night. There was quite a buzz of excitement on the exchange to-day, in consequence of a rapid rise of shares in the May Queen Mine. On Friday parcels changed hands at 2s Id ; next day they went to 3a 7d, and yesterday a further rise of i>s was reported. This morning the market opened at (is, and in an incredible short space of tune shares went to Bs. It is believed that this mine has got on the old Queen of Beauty Reef, lost in the slide. Moanatairi shares went np to 7s.
