SEVERAL LIVES LOST. (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. —COPYRIGHT.) Vienna, Augusts. Three crowded railway eai'riages were thrown into the River Inn, in the Tyrol, and several passengers were drowned.

The forests have been devastated, and the monasteries and hermitages, for which the Mount has long been celebrated, are all destroyed. Twenty monks and hermits lost their lives. The damage is estimated at a million pounds.
