Company, was rather badly damaged while lyiu t; alongside the goods wharf, her public box being stove in and her sides knocked about. DUNEDIN, Last Night. At the City Court to-day Mrs Sunn Dreamer was charged with 1 airing improperly beaten a child with the butt of a hoe. As the child was too ill to appear a remand was granted until next Monday, bail being allowed. Hans Olsen, who received severe injuries through a tree falling on him at Portjbello last month, has died at the hospital.
The death is announced at Cromwell of Mr Duncan McKellar, who occupied the po.it of (JoMficld's Secretary oil the Provincial Executive.
