WAITOA ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the above named Pmaid took place in th«* Nottingham Oastlo Hotel, Morrinsville, last Saturday. Present.: Messrs W. T. Ctwpnsell (chapman), J. Iforroll, It. The section was gazetted an Education Reserve in 1881, and nono but the Education Reserves Committee has power to deal with it.—A memo was received from the Property-tax Commissioner reporting having forwarded to the Treasury a voucher for the payment of £213 8s 2d being the amount of subsidy dm* to the Jioard under "The Local Rodirs Finance and Powers Act, 1885," and Sections 8 and !), Appropi iation Acts 1888 and 18X!).—The engineer was instructed to get the old Piako bridge on the Morrinsville* MaungaUpu roid ra decked and the wings ie.:ewed.
