CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN BOARD.
A si'ECiAr, meeting of tho above Board was held on Wednesday, at 2.20 p.m. Present: Me.-srs T. Wells ' (chairman), K. Hewitt, and R. Kirkwood. The meeting was called for the purpose of receiving tenders for fencing section (10— the Recreation Reserve at Cambridge West -—and decide what trees should be planted in it. Tknokkh.—The following tenders wore received for the fencing, about 50 chains : Vickers and Fletcher, i'li IDs Gd, equal to (h S.'.d; Giles arid Aimer, \U per chain ; M. "Dillon, lis Od ; and Fitsgerald and Nickle, 10s. Vickers and Fletcher's teuder was accepted. Morns Fkncing.—The above tenders were for fencing only three sides of the section, the eastern side being left open. —It was subsequently decided on the motion of Mr Hewitt seconded by Mr Kirkwood, that the eastern side of the section be fenced at tho sumo timo, provided the contractors are agreeable to do it at the same rate por chain. —Mr Fisher was deputed to arrange with them about it. Tiikks.— The work of providing the nccess.iry trees for section!) 0, and also for tho Cemetery Reserve, was left to the Chairman, he being an authority on such matters; and Mr Fisher was deputed to make arrangements with Mr Adams, the lessee of section! 10, for taking the portion of land required for planting trees, and for ploughing up a portion of the section. Ovi'.mm.u-r.-—Tho members of the Board agreed to sign n bill for a. temporary overdraft, not oxceeding £75, in case it should bo required. This was all the busine.-s.
