Mil Hakiiinon, chairman nf directors of Prospector's No. 1. mine, Puhiimhi, has arrived in town from tlio Thames, and brought bade a bar of bullion containing 75 o/.5., mostly silver. This was the product of 3"i cwt. stone, which has been treated at the Thames School of Mines, in order to see which process is most suitable, One ton of stone has been forwarded to the Onslow JJattery for treatment, another ton to Cashcl's (Karangahake). Mr Harrison is fully satisfied that the mine will average 10 ounces to the ton, which will nay handsomely.
