SAMOAN QUESTION.

She brings news that in consequence of the delay in appointing judicial officials several agitators are sowing seeds of dissatisfaction which aru spreading among the natives, who are now divided into three parties, viz., Malietoas', Mataafa's and Tamasese's. The religious body are attempting to persuade Mataafn that his claim to the kingship was not properly considered and that the recognition of Mahotoa as king is a slight to Mataafa, after the splendid services he had rendered in securing tho independence of Samoa. It is considered in Samoa that the speedy appointment of officials is necessary in order to counteract the reports circulated by agitators.
