Wliitiimru protested, nrprinpr that there was plcnty of work on the order paper to no on with, without touching the policy bills. It whs abmrd to pursue the time honoured custom of.adjourning when a no-confidence debate was uoiug on elsewhere. Mr Whitakcr aprecd, lint advised Col. Whitmore to table a motion on the subject. Col. Whitmore !*avo notice to move tomorrow that in fu'turo similar occasiona the Council should still proceed with the business, The Cuncil adjourned til! next day.
