Thk Council met at 2.30 p.m. Mr Acland obtained leave to introduce without notice, a bill entitled "The Church Properties Trustees Indemnity Bill " The bill was read a first time. Col. Whitmore Rave notice to ask the Government on Tuesday next, if they would extend certain telegraph lines on the East Coast, North Island without delay. The Imprest Supply Bill was introduced from the House, and passed all the final stages. The Council adjourned at 2.45 p.m.
