(liV ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH— COPYRIGHT.) London, June It. Thk Australians mot the Middlesex eleven at Lord's to-day. The former went first to the wickets. Their innings closed for 135. The wicket was dead. Burn and Charlton are not playing in this match. In their first innings Middlesex was disposed of for 113, the principal scorer** being; Nepean, 15 ; \Vebb, 15; Parravincini, 12 ; Scott, 11. Turner took four wickets at a cost of 52 runs, Ferris two for 38, Trimble throe for 17. In their second innings the Australians have lost three wickets for 30 ; Jones, lint out, 17, Ferris 9. Murdoch was dismissed in each innings without scoring. The wicket, which was drying, played very treacherously. June 10. Iti their second innings the Australians have lost eight wickets for 170. The principal scorers are : Jones, 17 ; Ferris, 17 ; Blackham, 10 ; Turner, 15; Gregory (not out), 53 ; Barrett (not out), 43. The match has been stopped owing to rain., ,
