WAITETUNA.
Owxeks of land adjacent to tho Springs have commenced bush falling. Messrs Secombe and party and Mr McArthur intend clearing extensively for grass. Mr Johnstone at Waitotvma Heads, is pro greasing with the erection of his house, and tha surface-sown grasses of last season surrounding are all that can be desired and a proof to scoffers that the land in this district is second to none in the country for good and permanent pasture. Tawhiao and the royal suite have left the Waingatoa Springs for Pukekawa, having derived great benefits from llieii' late sojourn and use of the baths. Visitors continue to arrive at the springs. Mr S. S. Wilson is proceeding with the Tennis Court and other improvements at the Springs Hotel. Tenders will close on the 7th pros, for widening the track from the beach to the Springs, and it is to be hoped the same may be accepted by the Waingaroa Domain Board. ___^_
