SUPREME COURT SITTINGS.
(by telegraph—own cohbespondent.) Auckland, Last Night. The Supreme Court was occupied all day by the charge against Paul Aubrey for maliciouH injury to a punt at Ngaruawahia. The evidence was similar to that taken at the Magistrates' Court. Mr Dufaur appeared for the prisoner and olosely crossexamined the witnesses. For the defence the prisoner and his wife were called and swore that he rever left the house on the night in question. The case was adjourned till to-morrow.
