(UY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— COPVRIGHT). London - , May 20. A STAKT was made with the match Australians v. Yorkshire, at Sheffield, to-day. Murdoch won the toss, and sent his men to the wickets. The innings closed for the small score of 87, to which Lyons contributed 20, Turner 19, Walters 23, and Blackham 14. When the stumps were drawn for the day, the Yorkshire Eleven had one wicket down for 13 runs. The Press considers that the victory of the Australians over Surrey has assured the success of their tour. In the first innings of the Australians Peel secured six wickets for 34, and Ellyett four for 49. Yorkshire made 101 in their first innings, the principal scorers being: Peel, 39; Hawke and Mainwright, 28 each. Turner took five wickets for 59, and Ferris t-hree for 44. In their second innings the Australians have scored 14, without the loss of a wicket, Lyons and Jones being the batsmen. The wicket was very lively. Eighteen thousand people were present. May 28. The second innings of the Australians closed for 125. The match was won by Yorkshire. ____________
