Thb Mail Coach.—The mail coach lias ceased to run between Raglan and Hamilton for tho winter season. The roads, from the continued fine weather, are in very fair condition for travelling. Thb Peninsula. — I hear McKinnon Bros, have taken over the remainder of the term of lease of the Peninsula, with stock, &c, from Mr Robert Bruce. Road Wouks.— The Whaingaroa Board have accepted tenders for a new pipe culvert on the Kawhia-Waitetuna road. When completed this will, with other maintenance works on the Huntly branch road, leave the roads in the Board's district in good order. Tenders are also to be called for widening some 10 chains of the Beach road at the North arm of the harbour leading to the Springs road. Setiucmknt.—Mr Kelly, of Kelly Bros., surveyors, is about to resume work, having recovered from his accident of a broken leg, and Mr Holt, C.E., is also engaged in surveying a 1000-acrc block between the Kahahuru and Kt>raka roads. Mr Seccombe and family have taken up their abode on their estate having houses erected east and west from the Whaingaroa Springs Hotel.
