It was the action of the Prussian Anarchists which instigated the Austrian Government to refuse their employees a holiday on May 1. Ajistkhda.m, April 21. The authorities of this city have forbidden the proposed procession of workmen. Paris, April 21. It is stated that owing to the violent conduct of the leaders at a recent Socialist meeting, the authorities in this city have been'ordered to rigorously suppress the labour demonstration on May 1. The Parisian workmen intend to signalise the labour demonstration by proceeding to the Chamber of Deputies and demanding eight hours a day. Bkrlin, April 22. The miners in Silesia are quieting down. The cause of strikers at Wilkowith is declining.
