Autumn Meeting, which, owing to the continaance of bad weather, had unfortunately to tie postponed from time to time, was carried out to-day. A splendid day attracted a good attendance of the public. The flag dropped to a splendid start. Loch Ness and Patchwork were the first to move, and the pair led pasttho stand. St. Michael passed Loch Ness at the bottom of the turn, and led the field round the top stretch, nearing the home turn Hilda put in her claim, and cutting down her opponents in the easiest manner possible, ran home an easy winner by two lengths. Dividend, £2 5s (id inside; £2 8s outside. Steeplechase. Recruit 1 Tawhiao ... 2 Darnley fell.
