SOUTH AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of the above Club was held last night, when it was resolved to disqualify Locket for the Galloway Race on account of suspicious running at Takapuna in a Pony Race, but nhe is to be allowed to run iri the Flying. Stakes. A' list'of 'gentleman riders submitted and the names approved of as follows.— Messrs P. JrSneeJS. liawson, E. Rathborne, A. J. Storey. G. McGlashan, M. Hickey," TrH. Barwell. A. Bach, andH. B. Webster. A committee consisting of Messrs Edgecurobe, Sandes, and the Secretary wns appointed to make arrangements for a band for the meeting. Hunter's Band and the Newton Band both sent in offers to come up.
