RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS SUED FOR DAMAGES.
[BY TELEGBAPH.—I'HESS ASSOCIATION.] Chsistchurch, Last Night. . At the Supreme Court to-day, John Burcell, a seaman belonging to the s.h. Jubilee eued the Railway Commissioners for £2000 damages. Ho was .engaged handling cargo on the wharf last August vvhon an accident tool; place, by which his log was badly broken, and subsequently amputated.
