Mr Buchanan, British Consul, has rehoisted the British flag, proclaiming British rule in the Shire district. Lisbon, March 18. Major Pinto has been instructed to proceed to Mossamades, a Portuguese colony 170 miles south of Benguelu, West Africa. There is great exoitement over the rehcisting of the British flag at Shire in the Zambesi country.
