REPORTED DISCOVERY OF CLEOPATRA'S TOMB.
Tim authorities at tlio British Museum ]i,ive(lho London correspondent of the Manchester Courier says) received information that a find of unusnal interest has recently been made on the site of some recent excavations in Egypt. A tomb has been uneaithed, which is believed by eminent archreologists to be that of Cleopatra. It was found at a depth of 25 feet from the surface, in a chamber 10 feet hng, 2J feet wido, and lofty in proportion. The sarcophagus was built in the form of a javramifl, and covered vvith exquisite carvings, among them being five female figures, five crowns of laurels, and four figures) of children. Some of the latter are entirely nude, while others are draped. Id the centre of each of the crowns a bunch of grapes is carved. At the time the message was dispatched the discoverern were awaiting tho arrival of an Egyptian official, in order that tho tomb might be ormolly opened,
