In connection with these races, we have received the following tips :— For the Hurdles, Magnesia, Dick Turpin and Shamrock should fill the places. Loch Ness, if he is sent, ought to have no diffij culty in appropriating the Jockey Club Handicap and Redwood Stakes, and in the former I would take Try Fluke and Yum Yum to fill the other places. Security reads best in the Maiden Plate, and ought to be the first to catch the judge's eye. Failing Loch Ness in the Redwood Stakes, I think Yum Yum and Security will fight out the result. The Steeples, I fancy, will fall to Magnesia, and Billy reads best for the Novel. It is difficult to pick the ponies, but to fill the places I will take Lottery, Grace Darling and Reuben.
