Auckland, Last Night. The Directors of the Caledonian Gold Mining Company, in their report to the shareholders to-day, stated that the year had been unfavourable, owing to litigation, and to the fact that certain reefs- had to be abandoned ; another call is to be made. The Thames Gas Company have declared a dividend of six per cent. , . Mr Rae has definitely decided to vjsit Sydney, and he leaves next Tuesday, taking Titokcwaru and the pony Ihutriata with him. He intends to nominate Titokowara for the jumping events at the A.R.C. Easter Meeting. The Northern Steamship Company contemplate building a new steamer for the Bay of Plenty trade, adapted for crossing the East Coast bars.
