Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, Te Aroha Jockey Club Handicap, Pony Race Handicap, and Waiorongomai Plate Handicap, must be made to the .secretary, Te Aroha, before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4th, 1890. Weights will be published in Te Aroha and Ohinemuri News on Saturday, March Bth. Acceptances to be declared before 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 15th. Entries for Maiden Plate and Ladies' Purse must be made before 8 p m. on Saturday, March loth. No nominations or acceptances will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named, or without they be acconipauied with the necessary amount of cash and a qualification fee of 10s 6d. Performances, age, aud descpription of horses, and riders colours must be sent with nominations and general entries. In case of protest the sum of 20s must be, lodge I with the Stewards which will be forfeited should the protest be considered frivolous or vexatious, the Stewards'decision to be final. A. MENZIES. Nominations for Races Nos. 1, 3 and 4 close at 8 p.m. at Raglan on Bth March, and acceptances on 15th March, at 8 p m. Weights will appear in The Waikato Times on 18th March.
