(at ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT). Sydney, February 25. The Government Stntist estimate* the wheat crop of the colony at 6,460,000 bushels, ■ (riving an average of 15"8fi bushels per acre. The average of the past 28 years is 12'88 bushels. After matins? allowance for seed, he estimates 1.487,000 bushels will have to be imported for local requirements.
