Oats, Is lOd to 2s ; maize, 2s 9d to 2s lOd the bushel. At the horse market on Friday a larger number than usual were sold. Prices for useful horses in coudition ranged from £7 to £12 10s. At the hide and skin sale on Tuosday, damaged dirty and inferior hides brought from fd to 2d the lb, but sound large hides brought old values up to 2Jd for cows, and 4sd fur ox ; lambskins, Is 4d to Is 6d; pelts, Is to 2s 3d each; wool, iu bags and bales, from Gd to 7gd the lb. At Pnkekoho on Monday, cattle were yarded in full nnmbers, and met good sale, particularly for young stock. At Remuera, on Thursday, a small market of stock of all kinds fairly sustained last week's values, but fat cattle fell Is the 1001b as the sale proceeded. Messrs. Stone Bros.
