LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS.
(BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Last Night. The Whangarei Advocate says that an M. H.R. and three other prominent individuals will be prosecuted on Saturday next for trespass at Puhipuhi. The Advocate denounces the conduct of the Government in the matter, and says it is causing a strong feeling, detrimental to the district.
The Maoris are to give a private wnrdanco before the Vice Regal party. Lord Carrington leaves for Sydney by the ner.t mail steamor.
