OHAUPO.
New Ykak's Eve was celebrated at Ohnupo bv tho largest gatherinirof o- er-grown juveniles yet seen together in this locality. The occasion was a social dance, organised by the bachelors and patronised by over seventy couples. A I'<npr programme had been prepared, and was rigorously adhered to, keepinc the party together till daylight did appear. The party did not break up till 4 30 a.m., which is a fair indication that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Ample refreshments too were liberally served, and everything passed off so pleasantly and the gathering was such a success, that the bachelors have determined to mako it an annually recurring institution.
