L A N 0 E II . The Purebred Clydesdale Stallion GLANCES WILL STAND AT MATAMATA THIS SEASON. Glanccr is a bay horse, rising four years old ; has great strength of boue, plenty of hair, a prime mover, and is perfectly quiet and good-tempered. He was bred by Mr Robert Gawn, North Taieri, Otago, being by Lord Salisbury (imported), out of Scotch Annie (imported). Lord Salisbury has never been beaten in a show yard, having won eight first prizes before leaving Scotland ; at Dunedin in ISBI first prize, and first prize, with enp, for the best horse in the yard in ISS3, 1534, ISSS, 1886, 1887. Scotch Annie at Dunedin, 1883, won first prize and medal for best mare in the yard ; at Taieri, 1884, lirst prize for mare and two of her progeny; at Dunedin, 1885, first prize and medal for best mare in the yard.
