(UY TKLBGItAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Monday, Parties have been out all day dragging for the body of Polsen, who was drowned on Friday through the upsetting of a boat in the harbour, but have been unsuccessful so far. The selection committee of the Cricket Association have chosen the team for the southern tour. Of the seventeen previously selected, Messrs Arneil, Barton and Yates notified the committee that they were unable to leave, and in consequence, the team selected was Messrs Fowke, Gardiner, Kelly, Kissling, Lu.sk, Lynch, McPherson. Moresby, O'Urien, Rees, Rev Richards, and Stevenson. Anthony Brockliss was sentenced to one year's imprisonment at the Supreme Court, for forgery and uttering.
