rj. L A N O E E. The Purebred Clydesdale Stallion GLANCER WILL STAND AT MATAMATA THIS SEASON. Glancer is a bay horse, rising four years old ; has great strength of bone, plenty of hair, a prime mover, and is perfectly quiet aud good-tempered. He was bred by Mr Robert Gawn. North Taieri, Otago, being by Lord Salisbury (imported), out of Scotch Annie (imported). Lord Salisbury has never been beaten in a show yard, having won eight first prizes before leaving Scotland : at Dunedin in 1881 first prize, and first prize, with cup, for the best horse in the yard in ISB3, ISS4, 1885,1886, 1887. Scotch Annie at Dunedin, 18S3, won first prize and medal for best mare in the yard ; at Taieri, 1884, first prize for mare and two of her progeny; at Dunedin, 1885, first prize and medal for best mare in the yard.
