CRICKET.
Cambridge v- Ohaupo. The above clubs met at Cambridge on Saturday, to play fur the Association cup, Tlje result was an easy win fur tho home team, as they won by an innings and 45 runs. Browning made top scons (59), but ho had several livos. He, however, proved very destructive with the ball in the second innings, taking seven wickets for two runs. He performed tho "hat trick" by disposing of the last three men with three successive balls. Gailey was the next highest scorer, making 2S. He, however, proved a very expensive bowler, as he only took one wicket for G runs, and, in addition, a large number of byes were inade off his bowling. Longbottom (17) and Norman (13) were tho only others who got into double figures; although every member of the team placed something to their crodit, there not being a " duck's egg " in the scoring sheet. For Ohaupo, Hunter was tho only man who made a stand in the first innings, scoring 22. In the second innings A. Kusabs (27) and Robt. Mears (16) were the only double-figure men. Dclaney wag tho only one who did any good with the bull, taking 5 wickets for 1G runn. The umpires were Messrs Barton and Owen. The following are the scores :— Cajimuhgk.—W. F.
