No reply has yet been forwarded, but it is understood the Club will reply and refuse to entertain the protest, and intimating their intention of upholding their official. Chiustchuucii, Monday. Tho Jockey Club, in reply to Stead's complaint, decline to accept any dictation as to whether the present handicapping has given satisfaction, but promise to answer for the fitness of all its officials when the annual appointments are made.
