The stewards of the Duuediu Jockey Club, have roceived a requisition, signed by Messrs Stead and Clifford, on behalf of the Northern racehorse-owners, threatening to scratch all their horses for the Dnnediu Onp Meeting, unless Mr Douse is immediately removed from his position as handicap per. No reply has yet been forwarded, but it is understood the Club will reply and refuse to entertain the protest, and intimating their intention of upholding their official. Chiustchuucii, Monday. Tho Jockey Club, in reply to Stead's complaint, decline to accept any dictation as to whether the present handicapping has given satisfaction, but promise to answer for the fitness of all its officials when the annual appointments are made.
