At the country cattle sale held at Pokeno, prices for store cattle were firm, and in pood demand throughoat, but at Drury bidding was comparatively slow, although net much difference in the values obtained. li'rosh-conditioned grown cattle in good inquiry, and young cattle kept their late values. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle at prolit were better worth 10s each. Store cattle of all classes dull of sale, and lower in price.
