THK tennis ball now bounds in China, though dirt courts are more frequent than grass. The clearing sale of contracting plant to be held by Mr J. McNicol at the Borough Yards on behalf of Mr P. Bolton, takes place on Friday next. New potatoes, produce, furniture, etc., will be offered by Messrs Knox and llidler at thoir sale to-day. A boat, with oars, &c., complete, will also be offered.
