The Now Zealand Loan Mereantila Company report under date, Sydney, November 7th Wheat q«o e really prime Tuscan at up to 3s lid. Uats (free).—Dull ; we now quote _2s lid a.' tull value for prime bright stout teed. P" tato ®* (f rße ) —The arrivals from New Zealand during the past tow days have been exceptionally heavy, and as the receipts have been altogether out of proportion to the demand, we estimate that fully 25,000 sucks of potatoes are now lying on the various wharves. This accumulation of stocks has occasioncd an ntcer collapse in the potato market, and it is impossible to give a reliable Q| 10 ' tation, sales being affected at from anything between £1 and £2 10s per ton, and we irruatly fear that those heavy shipments must result in tremendous loss, as our market is utterly unable toabsorothe enormous stocks now to hand.
