STATE EDUCATION.

Sydney, November 15. In the course of a leading article this morning the Sydney Morning Herald referring to the attempts made last session onthe national system of education in New Zealand says the probability is that it will be one of the issues fought out at the next general election and will bo watched with considerable interest throughout Australasia. The article predicts that the present system of national Education will emerge from the conflict essentially unaltered though better adapted to the performance of its great mission.
