THE STRIKES.
(IIY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT.) London, Xuvember 13. The Tilbury clock labourers struck in order to compel foremen and clerks to join the union, but have, since resumed work. September 1-1. The General Steam Navigation Company has conceded payment to men during meal times, and in consequence of their action it is believed the movement generally will succeed.
