The Waikato Times Office, Monday. AUCKLAND PRODUCE MARKET. Mr A i.kx. Aitken's Market Rkport for the week ending November Pth.—Business generally brisk. Produce of most kinds has been quitted freely at satisfactory prices. Auction sales havo been largely attended with spirited competition. Old potatoes nro coming forward in bad order for Jittlo demand. Good sound, shorty of requirements for shipping orders. New potatoes in (,'ond supply. Prices have ruled higher than last week. Onions : None in the market. Vegetables of all kinds remain scarce and prices high. Peas have been more plentiful, prices slightly lower. Grain of all most kinds has moved off freely at previous values, Hams and bacon have b:en more plentiful. Good lots have moved off at better values, inferior difficult to quit at any price. Cheese, new, coining forward freely. The demand has been quite equal to the supply, values unchanged. Fresh butter has been slightly scarcer, values unchanged. Eggs continue very plentiful, values unchanged. Corned butter : No sale for old make. Only new make of very choice quality saleable. In the fruit department there has been :i fair demand for gooseberries, but- littlo other fruit coming forward. In the poultry department all pens were filled, but double the quantity could havo been quitted at prices above previous values. Pigs were entered in large numbers, all sold at good values.
