.S.S. Row UNA.— The Rowenn, with the cutter Fearless in tow, name into port last weok, the cutter having been purchased by Mr Hall fur the purpose of conveying the machinery of hin tiax-mill to its destination on the coast. The Rowena, after unloading her cargo for this port, took on board a quantity of flax and other produce, and proceeded direct to Kawhia, where a consignment of flax and pigs also awaited her. The cutter, in charge of Captain Vercne, having received the machinery on board, awaited favourable weather, and on Sunday morning proceeded down to the heads, and got over the baron Monday morning about fivo o'clock, and shortly afterwards arrived opposite the mill site, but tailed to effect a landing, and so returned to the harbour. This (Tuesday) morning she went out to sea again to make another attempt. It is intended to run her on the beach—a somewhat risky operation.
