CniCACO, November 1. Duiijxg a heavy ,t:ale to-day a live storey factory in tin; city collapsed, and its fall crushed an adjoining carpet-weaving shed, where 150 girls wcto working. ,. Forty of the girls were killed outright. Eighteen were injured, while many are still to he accounted for. Numerous wonderful escapes arc; reported.
