CRICKET.
TuniKARAMEA V. PaTEKANGI.—TIIO first match of the cricket season in Waikato will bo played on fclio latter's ground, in Mr Germanu's paddock, on Saturday, commencing at 1 p.m., when the above clubs will meet for a friendly game. The mombers of the local club are requested to bo oil the ground early to put the cricket pitch into order. The following are the member.-; of the l'aterangi Club to date Messrs Alexander, Crookes, Case, Kwen, fiuodfelluw, Gfrierson, Graham, Mauky, Mclfttrlune, Burgess, Ryburn 121, I'otts ?2), and Webb. Otheri who have promised to become members are also requested lo attend. Tub Cup Matches.—The first cup match of the season will be played at Cambridge on the 9th November between the l'aterangi and Cambridge Clubs. It seems a great mistake of the Waikato Association not calling a meeting and drawing a programme of cup matches for the season as we understand there are new clubs wishing; to join the association and play for the cup.
